It would be a huge increase to revenue and sales for the entire country as it has been for other countries that have held the event in the past. With only two weeks to go until FIFA makes the official announcement as to who will get to host FIFA 2018, business owners of travel and tourism would have to start planning for the event starting next year.

Everyone will start to think about how they can benefit and profit from this huge event, and some business have said they would take advantage by introducing new products and services to offer customers.

Karren is urging all business owners and everyone else to keep backing the FIFA 2018 bid and to show their support, as so many people would benefit from having such a large scale event. They are predicting that it could potentially boost the economy by a massive 3 Billion Pounds

In fact, this research from npower revealed that a third of businesses (29%) believed it would be the smaller companies that would see the biggest benefit.
